Connecting with others has a strong impact on your health and wellness.
Try reading studies on all kinds of topics in health and wellness to learn more about this topic.
One articl I have enjoyed that is focused on healthy connections is written by a UCLA professor, Matthew Lieberman. In his book, Social: Why Our Brains Are Wired to Connect, Mr. Lieberman notes that “…a growing body of research shows that the need to connect socially with others is as basic as our need for food, water and shelter…”

Years ago I read a book called “The Five Love Languages”.
When I finished reading this book I applied the concepts to start loving my family with a different perspective. The book focuses on understanding how individuals needs to feel loved instead of loving based on our needs.
I still reflect on what I learned in that book when connecting to others.
Health and Wellness Coaching is a great way to explore how you can build on current and future relationships.
Below are a few of my favorite books that have inspired me over the years. Each books uses healthy techniques and perspectives to change how we interact with the people in our lives.
