During my Masters in Health and Wellness Coaching we were required to do research on the products we use at home. I was shocked to find that a lot of healthy products include regular kitchen items like honey. What was even more shocking is was that my day to day products that I trusted had high levels of toxic ingredients.
Clean Product Journey
This journey to find clean products for my sensitive skin was interesting. In looking for results that made the products also worth the money I had a lot of hesitation. Many of these products are marketed to women as natural but they are not.
Today Farmacy is my product line of choice. Honey in the ingredients was my fist attraction because there are so many studies about the benefits. My Sephora membership allowed me to try a few samples and my sensitive skin seemed to love it.
Using Starter or Gift Kits
So, I purchased the starter kit called “The Mighties”.
The gift or starter kits help me try high end products at low risk. Each kit is usually under $30.00 and includes 4-5 of their most popular products. These jars are small but a little product goes a long way so I get a month or more out of them.
The full size of any of these items individually can cost as much as $50.00. Also, because product quality can deteriorate once you open the jar and let the air in, the smaller jars are an investment in potency.
Results
So far so good. It has been about a month and I do notice that my skin is clear of breakouts and super soft. I’ve also noticed that if I have a breakout I can easily link it to something I have eaten because they are more rare.
If I do have a breakout, it seems to go away faster and little to no scaring.
Let me know if you have a favorite product that has honey or other natural ingredients you love.
Health and Wellness Coaching is a good way to help you explore new ways to take care of yourself.
