I like oatmeal with a little umph! I like natural sweetness with hints of different flavors that wake me up in the morning. A “Power Up” breakfast takes that average meal and builds your energy for the rest of the day.

You will need a medium pot for this dish.
2 cups Almond Milk
1 cup Steal Cut Oats
Brown Sugar to taste
Cinnamon to taste
Ginger to taste
1/2 cup of Goji Power trail mix (BYGourmet Nut)Toasted shaved coconut
Handful of sliced almonds
Handful of toasted shaved coconut
Let’s Get Cooking
Pour the almond milk into the pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, lower heat and add the oatmeal. I don’t like my oatmeal mushy so cook to your preference and take it off the heat.
Keep shaved coconut to the side for garnish.
Add brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, power trail mix and stir together until evenly mixed together.
Put the mixture in your favorite bowl then garnish with the coconut shavings. Enjoy!
